Zero Waste Program
In our efforts to become a greener facility, North Shore Studios has partnered with Keep it Green, a recycling program company that facilitates the ability for Zero Waste, both for the studio and its tenants. Recycle stations are set up for each office, stage and catering truck along with compost bins. In addition to composting hand towels from the bathrooms, the program allows recycling of nearly everything from styrofoam, soft plastics (sandwich bags and saran wrap), non coded hard plastics, batteries, DVD’s etc. resulting in significant reduction in garbage volumes.
There is a 1 Gig fiber optic network throughout the studio lot linking stages and offices. The studios supply a robust 200Mbps service, providing maximum upload and download speeds for large digital file transfers and efficient production activities. Firewall and system maintenance is provided by a network specialist.
North Shore Studios offers executive and production office suites, stage and craft service furniture, tailored to a production’s individual needs. A dedicated staff member is on call who will work with your coordinators to set up your offices. Additional furniture may be ordered at any time, delivery and full installation the same day. Our automated systems assure accurate monthly billing and make account inquiries quick and easy.
Telephone sets, lines, voice mail, and a video conference infrastructure is provided by North Shore Studios to tenants as required. All programming and activation is provided same day by a dedicated phone person. There are single and multi-line sets available, multi-line sets can handle up to 7 incoming/outgoing calls and single line phones come with call waiting.
North Shore Studios provides a conference room that can be reserved for your private meetings. Equipped with a 30’ boardroom table and 26 high back leather chairs and additional stacking chairs, we can accommodate up to 40 people, depending on the room setup. The boardroom is equipped with whiteboards, audio-visual equipment, video conferencing and speaker-phone. Located on the 2nd floor in building 3, the boardroom also has a separate front entry room with leather sofas and kitchenette.
