Extra Holding and Lunch Buildings
North Shore Studios has 3 new cedar lunchroom/extra holding structures for tenants. Named after the three local mountains (Cypress, Grouse and Seymour), each building is equipped with tables and chairs, the largest of which can seat up to 90. Placed in the centre of adjacent stages, they are designed with removable panels to open onto treed garden areas and a central fountain sitting area.
North Shore Studios provides quality, well-maintained lift equipment. We are stocked with Forklifts, Scissor Lifts and Knuckle booms, all your rental requirements. There is a full time equipment coordinator to ensure that you can get you what you want when you need it.
Laundry and Breakdown Facilities
The laundry room is located on the ground floor in building 2. There are 6 washers and 6 dryers. Hotplates and pots are available for dying, storage cupboards for tools and materials. There is a vented breakdown adjacent to the laundry room and a spray booth in building S for toxic breakdowns.
Security is provided year round throughout the studio lot 7 days a week 24 hours a day. The front gate is open from 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday. Weekend and evening access is through the Gladstone St. rear gate entrance. In addition to recorded video surveillance, there are additional guards patrolling the studio lot ensuring people and property is safe and secure.
North Shore Studios has a full time maintenance department on call to respond and assist production with stage management or any issues that arise at the facility.

Recycling and Waste Removal
There are a number of 4cubic yard garbage bins, Compost bins and Cardboard recycling throughout the lot. 40 cubic year roll off bins can be ordered through the office.
In our efforts to become a greener facility, North Shore Studios has partnered with Keep it Green, a recycling program company that facilitates the ability for Zero Waste, both for the studio and its tenants. Recycle stations are set up for each office, stage and catering truck along with compost bins. In addition to composting hand towels from the bathrooms, the Keep it Green program allows recycling of nearly everything from styrofoam, soft plastics (sandwich bags and saran wrap), non coded hard plastics, batteries, DVD’s etc. resulting in significant reduction in garbage volumes. There are also can and bottle recycling bins on the lot, where proceeds are collected for charity.
