Whether you are new to North Shore Studios or have worked with us before, our helpful staff ensures your experience here will be a good one. We offer a range of support services to keep your production running smoothly, like security and equipment rentals, and additional spaces and facilities.

Extra Holding and Lunch Buildings
North Shore Studios has three lunchroom/extra holding structures available for rent. Named after the iconic North Shore Mountains, Cypress, Grouse, and Seymour, they are centrally located on the lot for easy access to the stages. Cypress and Seymour can each accommodate up to 48 people seated, while Grouse can accommodate up to 24. Each structure is designed with removable panels to open onto a treed garden area, featuring a koi pond and central fountain sitting area.

Lift Equipment
We partner with Herc Rentals to provide high-quality, well-maintained lift equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and knuckle booms to meet your rental needs.

Laundry & Breakdown Facilities
Our ground floor laundry facility has six washers and six dryers. Hotplates and pots are available for dying, and we have storage cupboards for tools and materials. There is a vented breakdown adjacent to the laundry room and a spray booth in building S for toxic breakdowns.

24/7 Security
North Shore Studios is kept secure with controlled access, constant monitoring and video surveillance. Security staff is on the premises 24/7/365. After hours, you can count on evening and weekend access to the lot through our rear gate entrance off of Gladstone Avenue.

Maintenance Department
Our full-time maintenance department is on call to respond and assist production with stage management or any issues that arise at the facility.

Recycling & Waste Removal
Each production is assigned their own garbage bins and compost bins. compost bins, and access to communal cardboard recycling. Construction bins are arranged as needed.
Productions are to set up their own recycling stations in offices, stages, and catering areas, diverting materials like Styrofoam, soft plastics, hard plastics, batteries, and even bathroom hand towels from landfills.
On-Site Production Companies
North Shore Studios is home to several on-site production companies specializing in development, production, and post-production. Payroll, casting, audio post-production—these teams contribute to the vibrant creative community at our studio and provide valuable expertise and collaboration opportunities for productions working on the lot.
